A food blogger faces up to five years in prison after illegally cooking and eating a protected great white shark.
The Chinese food vlogger, known online as Tizi, posted the viral video of herself tucking into the barbecued flesh of the shark, which cops believe she bought illegally.

“It may look vicious, but its meat is truly super tender,” she says in the video, which sparked fury online.

In the video, Tizi, who has around eight million followers on the Chinese streaming channel Douyin, is seen collecting the six-foot shark at a seafood shop in the southwestern city of Nanchong in Sichuan province, The US Sun reports.

Hard to believe this cute little thing could gobble an entire great white shark

It's usually the other way around.

Julie Child meets "Shark Week"? :D

Micheal Bourdain meets Robert Benchley?

What could better than my two fav things...food shows and shark docs rolled into one?

Great whites are larger cousins of the mako shark, the later of which is commonly sold in American grocery stores. So her cooking techniques should apply to the shark meat from the similar fish you can buy here in the US. So its a pity that you cant watch her anymore.

But 'rules is rules', and if they say great whites are an 'endangered species' then whatever.

In Hollywood its usually the other way around.

Not in real life.

Sharks kill about a 100 humans worldwide a year. But fishermen take, or kill, an estimated 100 million sharks a year. So the kill ration is in our favor by a million to one.

Wrong. In real life mechanical rubber sharks eat girls, rather than girls eating sharks. Obviously there's a major glitch in the matrix reality.

You have got a point.

And neither the shark, nor the girl, seem to be made of rubber.

Must be the Mandella Effect, or ....something.

The Mandela effect is caused by the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.

I dunno, the last photo she looks like she's licking the poor dead shark?

Maybe the CCP aren't that bad, I agree with them on this one.

Molestation of/by an octopus is a Japanese thing, that is Hokusai's painting you're referencing, I believe.

The long pink fingernails are disturbing.
It didn’t look tender either.
