^^ LOL. In the general population about 81% of people would have parents who are both right-handed, 18% would have only one right-handed parent and a mere 1% would not have a right-handed parent.

Disclaimer: does not consider ambidextrous or degree of handiness.

Exactly! Obviously this poll isn't even remotely scientific, but it's still intriguing.

(I really hope some more people vote!)

My parents are both primarily right-handed. I am also primarily right-handed, but I used to use my left hand for a few things.

I've also noticed that I'm dominant in my right foot and am dominant in my right eye (when I look out of just my right eye things stay the same, vs them shifting to the side a lot if I look only out of my left). My right eye also has better vision than my left eye + my eyes don't focus together that well though, so my brain relies on it a lot to the point I think my left eye just gets used for depth perception at this point (which gets worse and worse the more my brain ignores the input from it...).

I have two right-handed parents, and yet my brother and I are both left-handed.

Similarly, I have two right-handed parents, whereas my sister and I are both left-handed. I favour my right foot.

I'm a lefty, but my parents and brother (and whole family really) are righties.

But that might not mean anything. My neurotypical friend is left-handed but all her family are right-handed too.
