Only if you assume that the majority of people vote Republican, which is certainly not true of the U.S.A. in general, although it may be true in your neck of the woods.

Pretty much matches my own feelings on politics:

I would prefer someone like Larry Hogan or Liz Cheney get the nomination.

Well I would vote Liz Cheney if she got the Republican nomination

Right? It worked so well for them in 2016, what could go wrong?

I'd like to see DeSantis win. He deserves it.

If someone put a gun to my head and said you had to vote for one of these two guys or you die I would vote against DeSantis, because DeSantis is smarter and less impulsive and thus will get more of the authoritarian agenda done. Of course, I would be aware they are going to kill me anyway, but that does not change the calculation.

Similar thoughts to ASPartOfMe but opposite conclusion. Yes DeSantis will probably be worse than Trump because he’s more committed and more extreme, but Trump’s impulsivity is an existential risk.

First deal with the MAGA millions....there's 75 million of them who voted for the Don. De Santis is going to have an uphill battle,. My guess he'll try and outdo trump in the conspiracy stakes.

Kill you anyway? Please do elaborate.

If the MAGA’s had been given a choice between “the Don” and DeSantis the may not have become MAGAs.

Why do you and “Kraichie” even read my posts when both of you think I’m a troll?
