How can I get my age to show up in my posts?

My posts currently show my join date, gender, number of posts, and location. Is there something I can select so that age will show up? And yes, I’ve tried going to my profile page, but I’m not seeing it.

And similarly, is there a way I can un-check gender? Might be interesting to have conversations without gender being immediately announced.

Thanks. :D

It seems to be a problem with the Edit Profile page. It tells you to enter your birth date as mm/dd/yyyy. But it actually needs to be entered as mm-dd-yyyy. Dashes rather than forward slashes.

For example, it needs to be 01-31-1981. Not 01/31/1981.

Hopefully a mod/admin will correct it.

Thank you. :D

I’ve made the change and it seems to have worked.

Now, about gender. Currently on our profile, the choices are:

Female
Male
Non-binary

I might almost wish there was “Private,” or something similar. Again, so that gender would not immediately be front and center at the beginning of every conversation.

Yes, I imagine there might be quite a few people who would find that preferable/helpful. Especially if they were unsure how to answer for the moment.
