That's what my peers said to me in elementary school. I wonder if they regret it. Probably not.

The song is actually about a teacher who has conflicting feelings of lust, fear and guilt over a student with whom they are having a sexual relationship, which is eventually discovered. In other words, teacher's a pedophile/ephebophile.

And all this time I thought the song was just about social distancing before it was cool. But then again it's a long time since I've heard it and never paid any real attention to the lyrics. But I still hear the song playing in my head when I have to be around noisy crowded places.

I defs prefer ppl lay close to me than stand, too. Good song.

Not me.. I maintained my covid purity for the better part of 3 years but covid just completely fkd my last week or so. I haven't retested yet to see if I'm negative and can leave the house. Going to do that shortly because the weather is fantastic and I kinda wanna shuffle some cars around and ride my motorcycle to the beach and hangout until after sunset - haven't done any of that in over 3 weeks now. Hoping the police won't be there, but their music would be welcome.

The fact that I have zero life outside my apartment is probably why I haven't been sick since I had a cold in 2018. But the rest of the world thinks I have to go out and mingle with crowds and all their filthy germs to be accepted and I hate that. The other day I had to wait in the food court at the mall while my mother was ordering at A&W, but it was just too insanely loud and crowded. How can other other people not mind this? How are they not wondering or worrying about whether or not whoever last sat in the chair they're in now didn't have covid or some other debilitating, life threatening infectious disease? W all know the workers aren't sanitizing them *every* time someone uses them.

Don't stand, sit, talk, or even breathe so close to me.

When people are in groups like that it looks like a germy seething mass.

That would be something for me to say after Covid as well.
