I find written social communication almost as difficult as verbal communication, so I sometimes can't make a response no matter how I try.
Its not just on WP either.
The better I know someone the harder it becomes to respond, so my social media can be very one-sided.

somebody told me that if you don't respond to answering posts right away, you are likely to get more responses than if you respond to each one. I have let some threads go without responses trying to see if more people will add info or content. I do try to say thanks or contribute again if nothing else happens over a period of time but sometimes I might unintentionally miss one, especially if the newer threads are all bumped up and pass it lower on the lineup.
