What's so happy about it? It just reminds me what a failure I am. And soon the world will be so horrible it won't be worth having a job anymore. I'm sacred that soon we won't even be able to give food to our dogs and cats because there even pet food containing meat will skyrocket. I'm scared we're going to end up having to *eat* our dogs and cats. Every day I keep reading how most people can't afford to live in Canada anymore they soon will be forced to leave, if there's even a country worth moving to.

My parents would often take me out for a real treat on the Labor Day weekend, like a trip to the wildlife park or the Fortress of Louisbourg, but my father died this winter so I guess we're not going anywhere this year, my mother never mentioned going anywhere and I was afraid to ask for some reason.

Does trying to ruin other people's joy bring you some sort of pleasure? Most of us are just happy for a paid day off.

My brother was born on Labour Day, so I think of it as birth labour.

Happy Labour Day and happy long weekend to all!

I'm not getting a paid day off, just a time and a half day. And reduced traffic. And being able to park wherever I want where I live downtown.

Give the guy some slack, he's hurting. Even we Aspies feel empathy, even if we're not supposed to.

I believe that's a she, and it's a years long pattern of bitter complaining, not an isolated incident.

Take a look for yourself if you like:

I'm not a "everyone needs to be happy all the time" person by any means, but I kind of resent the "I'm going to drag everyone down to my level" mentality.

Or what? You'll post something long and indecipherable in my general direction?
