Even if all one does is read this thread title or see a Facebook post about the announcement of her passing, isn't it impossible to not acknowledge her death as having happened w/o some sort of Men In Black neuralyzer to delete it from your recent memory? :?

Had to vote "Yes." because it's the only logical option.

I'm not a fan of the Royal family and pay no attention to their antics. However, I feel surprisingly sad at the Queen's passing.

Obviously she means 'honor the queen's passing- even if its just for a moment, and just in your head'. As opposed to giving the queen the finger (even if its just in your mind), or like that.

I will observe it by digging up this old vinyl, and giving it a spin. American Bluesman BB King, the Crusaders, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, performing live at Albert Hall back in 1981.

Includes this song in which King adlibs an imagined conversation with Queen Elizabeth in the third verse. Light hearted blues, but ...with some serious advice.

I will observe it at an Elton John concert tonight.
His tribute to the Queen will be outstanding.

I'll post it if I can.

The Queen is dead . . .

HRM Elizabeth II: An admirable monarch and military veteran. I feel a great sadness at the end of her reign.  May God have mercy upon her and may her soul rest in peace.

. . . Long live the King!

HRM Charles III: May God have mercy upon us all.

My mom, my NT sister, and I all agreed that
it was only a matter of time before she passed.

May she RIP regardless of how well Charles reigns as king.

I assumed she had died years ago cuz I quit hearing or seeing things about her & started seeing & hearing about Charles & Harry instead.

The meme making machine is on absolute FIRE today about this. I'm impressed with how funny some of them are, truly.

That's very sad news. I cried three times today. I can't help it. I'm not very logical.

There's plenty of vids of people crying because their favorite sports team lost a game so I would guess that quite a lot of people are crying for the death of someone as famous & popular as Queen Elizabeth

Not a Royalist and am Irish anyway. Privilege by birthright is wrong.
