The internet makes people do weird things.

I used to sell second hand stuff on ebay and bidders would jack up the price to almost retail price for items. It always confused me because they could just order the item brand new online.

What universe do you live in?

I tried to get rid of a perfectly good office printer on E-bay. Couldnt get money for it at all. Tried "for the price of carting it away you can have it for free". Finnally ended up driving it to the thrift shop up the road and donating it for free myself.

I mean can one really get that much $$ just from showing a bit of vagina..I mean I do have one so perhaps it is worth thinking of. But I am in a LTR so might feel weird lol even so these days I am being open minded about ways to make money.

I made pretty good money off it. Most of the stuff I put up sold. Sometimes stuff sold for much more than I expected. Sometimes folks go bonkers on actions determined to outbid the other buyer. I never tried selling used old tech though.

It might depend on the product. Among the 2nd hand stuff I got nearly close to retail price for
Bread maker
Pram
Baby swing
Cot

I just put a fairly competitive price and let people bid for these items,

The weirdest item was second hand books. If I put my old books in a second book store I get a fee/cut for every book sold, To this day I never received 1 cent for my books through a store.

When I put them on ebay....they sell like hotcakes within a few days of posting. People just love impulse buying over the internet, I think it's like slot machines in a casino.
