It was extremely inconsiderate of him to make a speech at such a time. He should’ve waited a half hour or so.

I was watching a golf tournament once.

It was interrupted by a bunch of police cars chasing a Bronco.

Man….was I mad!

For years and years in the UK we've had interesting news reports, interviews, etc interrupted when the channel (usually BBC News or Sky News) switches without warning to some American press conference on an issue of little relevance or interest to UK viewers They don't even show the rest of the interview or news clip afterwards either.

This was one of many factors which led me to give up on TV news and then TV in general.
