I always feel a certain level of anxiety in cars, and my stress levels can be exacerbated by different things.

I'm ok in normal traffic and stuff most of the time, but if the driver ahead of me is inconsistent or something I notice it goes up, and I want to overtake if safe.

I didn't particularly want a convertible until after I was in one for the first time, and then I really wanted one!

It took me a few more years to get my first one, and well before my diagnosis, I didn't actually know why I wanted one. I've worked out since that I just feel less fear in the open air. Yes, I know there is perhaps irony there, that most convertibles aren't safer.

I'm onto my third now, and they still feel better to me than normal cars.
