Hi fellow aspies, Im new here. I joined up today because I really cant handle the dreadful lonliness anymore. I dont have any friends in the real world, just a girlfriend, so maybe Ill make some friends here. Im really not familiar with the way forums in general work, I read the rules and stuff, but if i do anything wrong just explain it to me.

How do forums work. It is not too difficult. You write something. Someone responds. Then you respond back when you are ready. You do not have to respond to each message but check in every now and then. After a few days, the responses from others will decrease and generally cease.
You can then generate another message or you can respond to the messages of other people.
There are several areas that are dedicated to specific topics, pick the best area to generate your future thoughts and concerns.

Next point. I am an introvert. About half the people in the world are introverts and the other half extroverts. Most people lie somewhere in between. Introverts recharge their internal batteries by being alone. Extroverts recharge their internal batteries by being in a group. Extroverts join together and talk about something for a few minutes and then move onto another subject, and then another, and then another. I think a little slower and a little deeper than most extroverts. Therefore it is always hard for me to enter a conversation because I generally find it difficult to know when to join in and many times I am out of step with other people.

Besides reading and following the rules I have a few suggestions:
=>- Responses are often not immediate.
=>- If a conversation gets unpleasant just leave the thread, not WP.
=>- Remember you're not the only one here on the spectrum,
=>---and some folk have other issues, too. So, please be kind.
