I guess all of those oligarchs are ignoring the advice of their mamas, and all "jumping off cliffs just because they see the other kids doing it!". :lol:

Real shame, many of them were quite young and had tons of money that they could have enjoyed a long lavish life with. But noooo, monkey see, monkey do..

Ivan Pechorin, the managing director of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, is the ninth Russian businessperson to die by suicide or in mysterious circumstances since January, and is among six deaths affiliated with the country’s energy sector

Knowing Putin, probably the latter. Toxic or radioactive materials were probably involved. (Viktor Yushchenko and Alexander Litvinenko come to mind)

Political opponents have faced worse from other leaders.

Alfredo Stroessner (Paraguay) had his opponents thrown out of airplanes.

Francisco Macias Nguema (Equatorial Guinea) had opponents chopped up, thrown in the ocean and fed to sharks...among other things. Dude was completely insane.
