They need to be discussing why something as absurd as 'morality police,' exists in the first place.

Yes, I know certain right wing politicians the world over are trying to force their version of this crap on people in 'the West,' but I think that's nuts, too.

Maybe she will be the Rosa Parks of Iran( except Parks was just incarcerated and didnt die). And untie that one little fiber that well cause the unraveling of the whole regime.

Well...I can dream anyway. :)

Angel: "God, there are critical matters that you must take care of" (Wars, disasters, pandemics, famines ...etc)
God: "Shut up you idiot, can't you see I am busy in cursing this one woman who's showing a bit of her hair in public?"

It's a common protest theme in Poland.

Iran is a strange place. I don't think Persians are particularily happy about their government.

I remember a queue for a plane next to mine, from Turkey. Mine went to Europe, the other one to Iran. All the women in black niquabs attending the luggage, some with kids, all veiled in black and silent. I was wondering - how do you spot your wife in the crowd?

My friend who travels a lot to Middle East for archeological excavations nicknames niquab "mailbox".

This what I predict: Their rulers are going to do an internet blockage, in order for those to be beaten, killed, and at best to forced to go home in one piece.

When the Iranians are gonna learn that peaceful protests is useless against rutheless dictatorships? No one is going to listen to them, I bet even Biden and Macron don't want any change of regime too (They're too concerned in succeeding with the f*****g nuclear/fuel deals).

Wow. It looks like ripe for a revolution... which is usually a bad news in Middle East.

I worked with Very Large Persian man we called 'Moose,' about 17 years ago. He was a bouncer at a bar I worked at. I remember (mistakenly) thinking that Persian people agreed with their government's actions and policies, and he set the record straight by simply saying 'It's the gov-ern-ment.. what can you do?' and I had this moment of realization that probably MOST populations the world over that have any sort of crappy governance aren't willing participants in it; they're ruled by thugs that are above the laws of their land just the same as the dipshits that sold us out here in BC/Canada to foreign wealth and drug dealers making it impossibly expensive for us to live here.

The older I get, the more I think that there aren't likely very many populations ANYWHERE that are happy about their government.

Could be bad news.. but, depending on how things transpire and change, it could be the best thing that's ever happened for the people that live there. Only time will tell.
