When I was young and still today I love listening to loud music and jumping around, I used to wake my mom up when I was young, late at night and she would be very angry with me, I would love certain parts of songs, and would play it over and over again, I' \have never told antyone that I did and do this still at 41 yrs old, its like I have to do this, No one but my mom knows I do this, I guess I'm embarassed that I do this, can anyone relate to this, any and all commenys are welcome!

Sometimes when I listen to music I will bounce w/o intending to. I also replay specific parts of songs over and over, and that's how I mainly listen to music.

Sometimes I did when I was a kid. But I thought that was a kid thing. My (NT) cousin used to twirl around in circles with his teddy bear when he listened to music.

Frankly, I don't see anything "autistic" about jumping to music.

If this were an "autistic" characteristic, then every West Indian is autistic.

I like to jump to the songs from the Beatles movie, A Hard Day's Night. One time my parents were at a dance and a Beatles song came on and everybody was jumping.

Do you have a problem nowadays or do you just enjoy the jumping?

Jump up, jump up, & get down!

I do this too but I agree it’s not an autistic trait. People these days will look to anything “abnormal” as “proof” of their “autism”.
