Cool, I'll have to take out my telescope. I will also probably try to set up my dslr on a tripod and see what I can do. Thank you for the heads up.

I remember back in September of 1988 both Mars and Jupiter were very close to Earth and appeared very close to each other. It an awesome display.

Damn, I forgot to grab my telescope before my wife went to sleep. I am looking at it now with my bare eyes though and it is REALLY cool. I will try with my dslr.

I am SOOO jealous of those who are viewing it at actual observatories right now
