I know people should only have 2,000 in their bank. My question is, does the SSI look at only the checking account? I have a saving account too. I been wanting to ask for years, I keep forgetting to post this.

Yel but they also look at other types of accounts like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, & life insurance policies to name a few.
