I don't get why people are afraid of black cats.

I can understand being afraid of cats in general, but just black ones?

Black cats are known for being very sweet.
There's so many unwanted black kitties at the shelter they have to do special adoption events.
In October they have to be really careful people won't take them for Halloween ... activities.

I got my black kitty in October to save her from potential loonies.

One of my favorite childhood friends of the animal persuasion was a neighbor's black cat. Very talkative animal, with a baritone voice he inherited from the Siamese side of his ancestry. I would take care of him when his folks went on vacation.

I don't get why people have to b***h and moan about everything just because it doesn't appeal to them.

I don't get Liberty Mutual commercials.

Putin. I'm convinced were all going to die in a nuclear war before the end of the year. But until then... life as normal.

Because of The Orange Man.

I don't get why children are forced to eat foods that they don't like.

Because children would eat nothing but junk food and become morbidly obese and unhealthy.

I don't get why so many boyfriends are more like boy-enemies to their girlfriends.

I don't understand why food has to be so expensive these days.

I don't get why people who smoke and drink alcohol (two things I don't do) lecture me for drinking soda drinks.

I don't get why half the audiobooks I really want aren't available on Audible or any other audiobook apps.

I don't get why the DVD store sells like a million CDs and records even though music is easy to get online but most DVDs that I want aren't on DVD and are on Disney+ only, even though not everybody has Disney+ but we all more or less have access to YouTube and other places we can get music.

I don't get why humans can be more like non-human animals. Animals don't have religion nor politics (as far as we know, anyway), they just live for the sake of living. My cat doesn't think I'm a freak or a potential serial killer for being a loner, she would never bully me for being intensely interested in Garfield comics, or order me to look at her and stop playing with my hair or shoelaces when she's talking to me. All I have to do is give her some cat treats and pets and she thinks I'm the best.
