I don't get why sometimes when our thermostat is reading 75 I'm so cold that I'm shivering but other times it reads 74 & I'm so hot that I'm sweating :? :x

Expanding on this:

I don't get how we still take these sorts of predictions seriously given how many times they've failed to come true.
I don't get how some cult leaders can retain a following after a prediction of this sort fails.

Talking of cults, have you heard of Divine Truth (a spiritual movement based in Queensland, Australia) , the 'leader' claims to be the reincarnation of Jesus of Nazareth, and his partner, Mary Suzanne Luck, claims to be the reincarnation of Mary Magdalene.
I watched a documentary on it - nutters :twisted:

No, but that sounds right up there with the self-proclaimed Queen of Canada.

She doesn't claim to be Queen of Australia though, and that's the first sign she's merely low quality pretender.
