How to make red wine... and to drink it. (I'm harvesting my grapes tomorrow on the first step to making this years batch of wine)

I get why the one word threads are pointless for those that seek attention.

I get why the most beautiful songs are usually sad-sounding, the most famous art is full of angst written by mentally unstable artists, and why comedies never get Best Picture awards. Because humans are not meant to be happy.

I get why the idea of “trial by fire “ is sometimes referred by poets and the like as a reference to life in general.

I do get why people still believe in male and female. They like things that are old and familiar. I don't, but that's a whole different topic.

I get why so many of us aspies relate to cats so much. Cats often display behavior that is misunderstood, especially by non-cat people. They are seen as being cold and aloof when they don't make eye contact with a non-cat, and then seen as creepily staring when they do. But cats are one of the few animals that makes a lot of eye contact with humans, and when they look away it's because your own staring has made them feel intimidated. They are seen as antisocial when they are just naturally more independent than say, dogs. They are seen as "bad" and "evil" when they bite people while being petted, but that is just how they play. Or when they won't use a litterbox when they likely have a problem with the type of kitty litter, or the box is in a place that's too noisy or makes them uncomfortable, or even worse they've been cruelly declawed and have problems digging in the kitty litter.

They also don't like change or a lot of noise and other things that abuse their senses. So yes, I think cats are totally relatable when you're aspie. Except maybe their perfect balance and agility, and their general dislike of water. :)

I do get why hippies are still protesting against wars.
