I often do that in times of depression. Works very well. I guess my mind quickly accumulates garbage when I'm depressed. So when I take a short nap it's like throwing away the garbage.

I assume meditation can have a similar effect, if it leads to switching to another state of consciousness. But I'm really bad at meditating.

I hope you finally managed to get some sleep, Rossall. 4:30 am is the worst time to be awake.

LOL Still Russian at present. EG- 'A very good afternoon from Vladimir Putin here at the Kremlin. You have been chosen to test our brain control technology'.

No one will be laughing in a few years if this is real and it gets used more widely. Let's hope it's just Schizophrenia on my part. :|

Maybe you need a different medication (not olanzapine) to treat your schizophrenia. There are a few to choose from. I'm hoping you'll get to see a doctor soon. Sounds like you haven't seen one in a while.

Thanks. I spoke to a doctor a few weeks ago but he just warned me about my drinking. There's wasn't really anything about mental health. I spoke to someone from the mental health team a few months back but there's been no follow up. I have been emailing the samaritans to try and get my thoughts together.
