I got a new Apartment today after spending a year at the Salvation Army, saving up my disability $1,300 a month SSDI and my pay as a dishwasher and selling plasma.

First I went on zillow and found the apartment.

I left Fayetteville and took an Uber up to Springdale and got myself into a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment that is tax credited, rent controlled and income restricted.

Moved right on in today.

I rented a large Ryder truck business class non-CDL..
What I did was I paid a guy on break to rent it for me and drive it, because I don't have a license.

The first thing I did with the ryder truck is I went to Scoot Tribe..

I Bought..
A Green Bintelli Beast 150cc Motorscooter.
A Green Bintelli Scorch 150cc Scooter.
A Green Wolf 125cc Mini Motorcycle.
All brand new.
Loaded it into the truck...
Along with a Helmet and three tarps and motorcycle tents.

Then I went to Big Lots.
I bought..

A Sectional with attached chaise and ottoman
A three piece living room set.
A Coffee table and end table set with extra matching end tables.
A Console table.
An Entertainment Center.
Four book shelves.
A Dining room table and chairs set.

A Magazine rack, coat hanger and shoe rack and home office furniture set.

A King size platform bed.
Two dressers, two chests of drawers
A Box Spring.
A King size Mattress.
A Mattress protector.
A Fitted sheet.
Sheets, Blankets, quilts, comforters and pillows.

A Table cloth and place mats, door mat, lamps and window curtains and decorative artwork.

I went to Walmart..
I bought..

A Bakers rack.
Cookware, Bakeware, knives, kitchen utensils, Chinaware, Glassware, Drinkware, Silverware, Tupperware.
A microwave, toaster, toaster oven, rotisserie oven, deep fryer..
a pizza cooker, bread maker,
Crockpot, Skillet, Griddle, Waffle iron,
coffee pot, a Kureig coffee Brewer, an Iced tea Brewer..
Blender, food processor, citrus juicer, fruit juicer.
A Pur water jug and a pur water filter system for the tap.

And an ironing board and iron.

I went to target and I bought clothing, laundry detergent, laundry softener and bleach.

I went to Best Buy..

I bought a Sony TV, DVD player, Blu-ray player, home theater sound system, CD and Bluetooth radio..A Bluetooth speaker, and a PlayStation 5.
A Hewlett Packard All in one computer, notebook, tablet and Smart phone, a wireless home phone set... and printer.

I went to Walgreens and I bought..

Crest Toothbrush, Dental Floss, Toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body spray, 6 blade razors, shaving cream and aftashave and cologne.

And a supply of medicines..

Two big first aid kits.

Pain and fever.

Tylenol, Advil, Aleve.

Allergies / Insect Stings.

Benadryl, Allegra and Nasacort.
Sting Kill wipes and liquid.

Burns / Itching / Poison Ivy

Burn spray, Cortisone-10, Lotrimin / Calamine lotion.

Upset stomach / Heartburn / Acid Reflux / Gas and Bloating / Diarrhea / Constipation.

Coke syrup, Pepto Bismol, Tums, Rolaids, Maalox, Prevacid, Gaviscon, Gas-X and Imodium AD and Miralax

Cough / Cold / Congestion.

Primatine mist, Robitussin, Sudafed, all Mucinex products.

I went to Kroger and bought groceries.

Then I went to Barnes and noble and bought books and board games..

Went back to Walmart and bought video games.

Now I'm home in my apartment..
All in one truck..
One shopping spree, one trip.

Instead of cooking after all of this work..

I went on Uber eats and I ordered outback steakhouse and red lobster...
And coldstone creamery ice cream.
:P

I think that's a very cool concept. I'd love to be able to do something like that.

I just bought a bucket a couple of hours ago. Been ages since I've owned one.

I was looking for towels (kitchen and bath), oven mitts, curtain rods, and a tool kit on your list.

I know all this because I just unpacked a flat to bring home.

Congratulations though!
I'm sure you'll have fun setting up shop!
