You never forget how to ride a bicycle. Got on one for the first time in probably 25 years or more tonight out of necessity cause my car is down, it felt super weird and awkward, but I didn't fall off and I was able to get around with it. Going to take it to work tomorrow, doesn't look too bad, 3.2 miles and all flat, but can't say I'm super stoked about commuting on the road with this thing.

Yeah, I've had that experience, too, though it wasn't after as long as 25 years. My body remembered it. It's good exercise, too.

An alternative to a bicycle is one of those electric scooters, which I see everywhere for the last few years.

The biggest issue with riding a bike nowadays is the risk of being knocked off by impatient or uncaring drivers. Take care. Wear a cycle helmet too if you've got one, they mitigate head trauma in the case of an accident.
