Country singer/songwriter Loretta Lynn passed away at age 90.

Funny how celebs die in groups. Sometimes in odd combos. The Queen of England, and a queen of country music (and a coal miner's daughter) are an interesting combination to arrive at the pearly gates at the same time.



In 1966 she recorded one of the first pop songs to address the human cost of the War in Vietnam.

I remember seeing the Movie "A Coal Miner's Daughter" it was a good film.
