Good for him, it's long overdue, even many on the GOP side support this kind of reform.

It is LOOONG overdue. Cannabis prohibition should have never been a thing in the first place. They need to hurry up and at least switch it to schedule II. Methamphetamine is schedule II and can be legally prescribed, but cannabis still remains schedule I, except for 2018 Farm Bill compliant hemp products.

It's about time. Now, it needs to be legalized at the federal level.

Oh, I don't just mean mushrooms and such, I mean all of them, LSD, MDMA, all the new synthetic analogues, everything. I'd also like to see cocaine de-scheduled, I've been around it enough at this point to come to the opinion that it's no more prone to abuse than alcohol and that most of the risks come from the cutting process and having to buy it on the street.

Yay!!!Now go the whole hog and pardon ALL weed possession.Expunge the records.
My family member is getting released from prison soon for weed possession.
They had a tad bit more than personal use.Cops seized a truck, a load of legal firearms and a stack of cash.
They tried to take another truck and a off road vehicle but the lawyer helped out with that.

Holy crap I agree with dox. 8O

Legalize everything. Sell regulated safe supply. Educate people. Make detox and treatment actually available to addicts that need to get clean & sober etc.

Some people will opt to do some drugs, and those who develop drug problems can have access to services to heal them. Suuuuuper simple concepts.

I absolutely agree. I also think that instances of severe abuse would be far better delt with as a medical issue, rather than a criminal one.

I can attest that alcohol far outweighs all other substances in the effect on society. Car crashes, domestic violence, severe overdoses, ect.. Not that I advocate for the prohibition of alcohol, but there is far grater reason to support such a mesure.

I think the DEA should not exist.

Unfortunately, the GOP +/- Manchin stand in the way.

Biden shouldn't be smoking pot, anyways. He's the president. No wonder he functions the way that he does. It's not his age, he's a pothead.

No, they don't, weed legalization has wide bipartisan support.
