Thinking of good news, although it's hard:

1. I'm taking a break from Twitter as people are going mad on there, even my friends.
2. The shopping arrived safely with no substitutions yesterday.
3. My fanfics are going well and I got fanfic gifts for Christmas.

Amazingly, I got a difficult situation for a client resolved at 3 pm on the last day before the New Year’s four day holiday. As a result, my client will be secure with his services instead of being wracked with uncertainty about his living situation. This is why I do my work.

That is also satisfying- when technical devices are compatible!

Maybe tempting fate, but looks like we've all seen the year out without being wiped out in nuclear war!

Shhhhhhhh! There's still 14 hours to go in Britain!

tbh I wouldn't care. As long as me and my family died instantly, that would be fine. I don't really enjoy my life.

So, good news.

I finished my fanfic and I'm very satisfied with it.

I started watching Our Flag Means Death yesterday, as people have been going on about it for months. I'm also enjoying The Witcher: Blood Origin, which is better than I thought. Despite having no Henry Cavill.

I have work coming next week so that will keep me busy.

Bad news: Yes I have a stress fracture on my rib.

Good news: I got more morphine and managed to sleep.

I don’t love it to be honest and it keeps me awake, but I can’t have codeine.

I did manage some sleep today after being up all last night.

We can’t get Xanax or Valium here.

^^^i find similar results [to valium, 'cept for numb face/lips] by using pot pills [indica] and valerian and flexeril. valium is extracted from valerian root from what i've heard. narcotics are almost impossible for working class folks to get legally here. we're not worthy of pain relief according to the PTB. can you still get 222s [codeine and tylenol combo pills] up there? those were lifesavers for me when i ran outta the other stuff.

Yes, they’re big on pushing Tylenol 3 and Naproxen which is like a super strong Ibuprofen / antiinflammatory. I can’t have T3 because of adverse reactions (not actually an allergy but considered as such), and I can’t have antiinflammatories because I’m on blood thinners.

That means they give me Oxycodone or Morphine for pain. My favourite (works best) is Demerol but I can’t exactly tell them what to prescribe.

We don’t use the word 222 but I think it’s the same as Percocet or Percodan. I get them mixed up. One is Oxy cut with Aspirin and the other with Tylenol. Oh wait … you said they have codeine? I’m not sure what that’s called but I’m sure it exists.

I take codeine / Tylenol pills with caffeine for migraines. They’re called …. Oh wow I’m too stoned to name them lol. They’re blue. Somehow the codeine doesn’t bother me if I have a migraine but for post-surgical pain it makes me really sick and messes with my heart.

The best we get for stress here is benzodiazepines. Benzos make me very depressed so I can’t even use those.

Wow I sound like a junkie but I’m not. I’ve just had lots and lots of surgery and many root canals.

I had a bit of weed earlier and that’s what helped me sleep. That’s legal here with delivery service door to door.
