Maybe so, but for all the things that have been inflicted upon American blacks a government attempt to kill them all off is not one of them.

During the 400 years of slavery every slave and their descendants were subjected to the worst forms of cruelty that could be imagined. Even in the 20th century they were even subjected to burnings, lootings, shootings, lynchings, rapes and even medical experiments without their consent. Infact, much of the world's ethical frameworks were developed because of the actions of American doctors rather than concentration camp doctors.

Slavery should be thought of as a unique evil not compared with anything else.

Intergenerational trauma has also been the experience of Jewish and gypsy people in Europe but it's intermittent as pogroms are not regular. For African Americans they were subject to 400 years of continuous torture.
