Oh great. So let's stereotype women.

I said "one of those women." This does not mean All women. I have read a lot of female dating strategy forum. I know not all women go there and think so bad of men they think they're all predators. I'm a woman and speak against this behavior.

I know it's not all women, but even if she WAS one of those women does it mean she should be manhandled against her will when she's afraid? Does she deserve it as some kind of punishment?

That's not the kind of world I want to live in.

She was not punished. She did have an arrest warrant on her, issued by a judge. The way I see it she was resisting arrest, and those cops were very nice to her under those circumstances. She took way too long to get searched and get put in the cruiser.

And what's with all this victim mentality on here? :shameonyou:

Get back to me after you've been frisked by men and then shamed on camera.

Got frisked a month ago at the airport. And that's after I got the security precheck clearance from the government, which should keep exactly that from happening. Was told it was "random". So?

Shaming? What are you on about? :|

Her belligerent behavior was certainly shameful though. You really have no point here.

My point is that people with stress disorders or mental health complaints should be able to speak up.
I notice you have a thread about having a stress disorder, and you spoke up.

We have no idea why she acted that way, and frankly it's none of our business.
Shaming a person having trauma or anxiety is not OK.

Shaming a person for their unacceptable behavior is most certainly OK.

I do not have any such diagnosed disorder. What exactly does my experience with an abusive female partner have to do with this?

Nothing at all. ^

I have my share of abusive partners too as you know. Even more than you know.

I wasn't saying you're the shamer, either.

I was referring to whoever took the video and posted it online, or people who think it's funny.

No one would post a video of a man refusing arrest, because men are allowed to speak up.

That's not even news.

There was a warrant for her arrest. They were not there to ask for her agreement. The cops were not disrespectful to her when they detained her. They did not violate any of her actual rights. That's the point.

That's good to know.
I wasn't saying the cops shamed her, or that she shouldn't be arrested.
My only issue is with social media thinking it's funny.
They wouldn't laugh at a man if he asked for a certain type of cop (gender, skin colour).
They'd likely think it was cool if the man punched the cops.

Women get treated so differently, like our mental health is a joke.

I'm not trying to be political.
If she was really having a meltdown she might be autistic.
She might have an anxiety disorder or be a SA survivor.
We just don't know.

I'd say the same thing if that was a man, by the way.
