Hi! I am a faculty member at Arizona State University and a doctoral student at Northern Arizona University. I have an autistic daughter who is a sophomore at USC, and I care deeply about how higher education is (or is not) supporting autistic students. For my dissertation research, I hope to find college students across the US to interview as I take a strengths-based look at how autistic first-year students build support networks. Below is my recruitment message and a link to my flyer. Please take the screener at https://asu.questionpro.com/CNScreen or reach out with questions. If you qualify, you will participate by completing a detailed online questionnaire or joining a Zoom interview (your choice). You must be able to provide a university-attached email address (.edu). You will earn $20 for completing the detailed questionnaire or interview.

Are you 18+, autistic, and currently enrolled as a first or second-year student at a college or university in the United States? If so, consider participating in a research study to understand how autistic college students create and experience academic and social support networks during their first year. Participants in this study will first complete a screening to determine eligibility. You will participate by completing a detailed online questionnaire or joining a Zoom interview (your choice). Participation is voluntary and confidential.

To participate, please complete the screening questionnaire at https://asu.questionpro.com/CNScreen or contact me at [email protected].

The Northern Arizona University IRB has approved this research study #1934872.
