I've noticed that there are some people here (including at least one recent new user) who post NOTHING BUT political posts.
Makes me wonder if they are here JUST to propagandize, and for no reason relevant to Wrong Planet's main purpose, which is to be a support forum for autistic people.
So I'm wondering: Should WP allow new users who post nothing but political posts?
Should there be, for example, some minimum required fraction of a user's first 10 posts, and then their first 100 posts too, that must be on non-political topics?
In the cluster of text-based chat groups that I've built, we have a rule that people are not allowed to join our political discussion group until they've participated in at least three meetings of one or more of our other chat groups. The purpose of this rule is to keep out people who would join us for the sole purpose of propagandizing.
