Could I increase it?

I am taking lorazepam tablets at the moment for anxiety etc. It says on the box of my prescription that I can take half a tablet up to twice a day.

The strength of my lorazepam is 1mg. Is it possible that I could slightly increase my dosage to like maybe half a tablet up to 3 or 4 times a day maybe?

I know I should ask my doctor this question really but I just need your opinions?
