A young TikToker is ready to give up the rigours of gainful employment, saying she’s just “too pretty” to bother with a job.
Lucy Welcher — a social media influencer with more than 10 million TikTok likes — made the bold declaration in a recent video that has fiercely divided the internet, NY Post reported.

“I do not want to work for the rest of my life,” the blonde brazenly stated at the outset of her viral clip. “Does it look like I want to get up at 6 am every f**king day for the next 60 years?”
“No! I’m too pretty for that!”



And before you ask.....she only has several thousand followers on TikTok and Instagram

In some South American countries the only folks who DO have jobs are attractive young people.

One lady I worked said 'its weird to see middle aged folks working like they do here in the US. In my country ...you walk into a retail store, and you only see hot young guys and girls."

I told the above to another Hispanic coworker, and the second person say "girls AND guys???? In my country only hawt young girls get jobs in public places".

I guess the second coworker is from an even poorer country then the first coworker came from...where jobs are even scarcer.

If she were my kid, I would not be paying for her, she would have to move out if she wasn't bringing in an income to support herself. Just as long as you can support yourself no matter what you are doing, even if you are an online star, I don't care then. But if you just refuse to work because you have this delusion you can get famous online and make a living off it if you put your mind to it, you are moving out of my house then because I will not have a moocher under my roof. I won't buy you food and your clothes and other things or even pay your phone bill, you have to find a way to get money. I'm not supporting you if you are not bringing home an income for yourself. I tell my kids they are free to live here with us just as long as they are working and bringing home an income because I am not supporting them when they are out of high school.

If people are dumb enough to support social media personalities with money, then more power to her. She'll probably make more money than working part-time for some clod who will likely harass her, and she won't need to pay for the costs associated with work (transportation, gas, work clothes, etc.) I just hope she's putting some money away in savings or pension funds the way she would at a normal job, because she doesn't know when the gravy train will end. I also hope (assume) she pays taxes on what she's earned.

The real joke is on the people who are dolling out cash to look at her, listen to her, or want photos of her meals and drinks. I never understood Instagram, or those other ways of selling your privacy online. It seems a lot of people who can't pay their own bills are more than happy to send someone else money so they can see their latte, or their brand of eyeliner. I'll never understand why some people are so fascinated by other people's lives.

Incidentally I don't think she's pretty, but her shameless self-promotion likely brings in thousands of curious trolls who want to decide for themselves.

She's not even that good looking. I would never pay a penny to her. Never understood the whole concept of giving money to people for nothing in return.

If she thinks she is "too pretty" to work, then she should get a job as a model or actor

She'll probably end up "modeling" (and wishing she wasn't so "pretty" after all) - sad.

I always hate ebeggers too, when people beg people to buy them things and I think "buy it yourself, you have money, use the money you make from your content." Yes some of these people have actual jobs but do this gig as a side hustle job. I once saw a Twitch streamer ranting at people not giving her money when they visit her channel and watch her play and this is a way for me to block you when you do this. You are not entitled to our money, want money, go get a job.

Uhm.. if that woman were my waitress and she looked like that and expressed an opinion like that , I would possibly leave her one penny as a tip . .
