I mean, really, AFAIK, you're the only developed state without any form of universally affordable healthcare.
Here in the UK we have that, but it's almost impossible to see a General Practitioner in many parts of the country, people wait 12-18 months to see a specialist, and there's a seven year waiting list for many surgical procedures.
That said, it won't send you into a lifetime of debt for being unlucky.

Only thing that pissed me off about Obama Care was forcing people to pay for it or pay a fine every year when you file taxes. People were okay with paying a fine than have health insurance and having to pick between food or health insurance. I wanted national healthcare and we got this instead. It was supposed to be affordable, but I remember saying "What is the point in affordable healthcare if it doesn't cover everything?" It's not affordable if you have to make sacrifices or change your lifestyle to afford it or pick between certain bills to have health insurance. Who wants to go paycheck to paycheck?
But this might shock people here.
Not Europeans But this might shock people here.

It is curious and appalling.
It's stupidity stupid. Seriously. Once upon a time CA had some of the best education in the world. I know this is true because I lived it. There were stupid teachers from K-University of CA, but there were also good ones. Now we have NO public education. I suggest people learn to see, hear and analyze issues. And stop pumping out repeated slogans. I am so tired of hearing nonsense as if it were something other than nonsense.

The lists for heart surgery & cancer treatments can be so long that sometimes a person might wager a bet on their life to go privately, versus their cancer progressing on long waiting lists and so on.
I agree that the NHS is better than the U.S. healthcare system, but it far from perfect & it wouldn't surprise me if Poland has a better system than the UK.

Some ppl simply follow the political narrative of their choice.
Much easier than thinking for themselves.
Nothing anyone can do about it until they choose to change.
Don't hold your breath.

My kids got a good education 100% through the public education system in California. I did have to do a lot of advocacy, and helped extensively with fundraising, but the foundation was there, along with very dedicated teachers. I do think it varies a lot across different parts of the state.
