But Trumpism (to some degree) lives on (though election denying candidates took a beating in the election, and election denial is a major tenet of Trumpism).

Trump hasnt even announced yet, and the GOP is already becoming a mud wrestle between the clown and his clone. The GOP elite would love it if Trump would just go away, and just let his less clownish Florida acolyte alone. In contrast the Dems would love to see Trump and DeSantis beat the crap out of each other to take the wheel of the GOP vehicle while it careens off of the road.

Now that the midterm referendum on trump & trumpism has decisively shown that Americans are sick if his s**t, maaaaybe it'll be a whole lot easier for Garland's DOJ to lay down the law and indict trumplestiltskin on charges of being a seditious troll?

I guess time will tell.. but I'm thinking Yes, it's easier.. because the people just voted and decided they weren't going to keep backing him and his trumpy candidates, so the DOJ (and NYAG, Georgia etc.) should be able to interpret that as there being less backlash from fewer trump supporters when the orange guy finally faces consequences.
