You could look on YouTube? I recall people of every race with autism on there.
I've looked on there, and again it tends to be the "autism moms" and children focused. Unfortunately I think this is a very underlooked thing in the African-American community in particular.

I HAVE been listening to audiobooks by Temple Grandin and others that have been very interesting and helpful. But it isn't exactly my experience. And I feel like I see so many people that find their groups and have these narratives that they feel speak exactly to them. I've never had that. I've just had to go my own way my whole life. Now I'm gonna cry lol.

I don't know if they are on WP, but I met a couple of black adults with autism while attending a (now virtual) support group a couple of years ago. DM me if you want me to put you into contact with the organizer.

I don't know for sure if there are black members on this page but it seems likely.
How could we know unless a member states that specifically?
I belong to a few autism pages on FB and there are a groups for black autistic only, black autistic women only, etc. There are black participants or members in some of the autism groups I participate in and those that I mod/admin.
People don't think of me as autistic because they see this bubbly cute curly haired quirky girl. I don't fit into their stereotype. Even fellow therapists missed all the signs completely.

Blacks come and go. Or folks whom I am aware of the FACT that they are Black come and go on this site. I dont really know the skin colors of most folks here (now that I think about it).
Miss Skibum is Black, and was quite active. A guy named RedRobin (an American from Trinidad) used to be quite active. But havent seen him lately.
