Who do you think the other Democrat will be? I would like to see Jared Polis make a presidential run.

I dunno who it will be but I'd be pretty stoked if it was Mayor Pete - and not because he's gay, but because he's educated, very well spoken, balanced, takes a logical problem solving approach to things & is very disciplined thanks to his military service. His temperament is a plus as well.

As a gay man myself I can honestly say I could care less about his sexuality and would never want him elected president just to say "Hey look! We have our first gay president now! See? Our country is not homophobic!" (That has annoyed me so much when Obama was president. Not that I had a problem with him being black, but with both Democrats and Republicans judging him more for the color of his skin than for his policies or merits as a leader.)

However with that said, I think he would make a decent candidate to vote for. He's not a fascist whackjob like Trump or DeSatan and he's younger and healthier than Joe Biden. I just think we need to start getting younger people in leadership who actually know how to govern because this older generation running our government will not be around forever.

Also I like Andrew Yang, but didnt he say he wishes to establish a third political party to try and compete with the mess that has become the Republican and Democrat parties? I would have the highest hopes for that to work but third parties in the US are notorious for alwaya failing to gain enough votes or support.

I think Biden's done a very good job in terms of foreign policy, with a bit of a mixed bag for domestic. But his age does worry me. He seems pretty sharp so far, but things can go bad very quickly in your eighties.

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with Buttigieg.

IMO, Donald "Pumpkin" Trump, during his years as a dictator-wannabe,
turned America into a laughingstock.

If he does not get the GOP nomination, IMO, the GOP will be screwed regardless
if they nominate someone who is just like (or even better) than Trump.

Klearly, it wasn't a coup attempt.
It was an epic Hillary Clint-type whinge.

Well, I mean it is strange that a traitor gets to run as president again. I think in the past treason was treated more seriously.

Klearly, it wasn't definitively determined he was a Traitor.

He is though he tried to undermine the election to gain power that seems pretty treasony to me. Like what is his excuse for that.

Hillary was throwing doubt on an election result also.
And what about her illegal personal web server?
And let's not mention the political maneuvering that cost the life of at least one marine in the middle east.
Oh, dear, I just did. ;)

Bottom line, the results had already been recorded/archived elsewhere and 1/6 could only have postpone the ratification of the valid Presidency.

Thankfully, Pence had integrity and ignore the orange man's nonsense.
He was visibly shocked at the request to abuse Amerrian Democracy.
Good man. :thumright:

1/6 was never going to "overturn" the election results.
It would have merely *delayed* it.

Have you watched the J6 hearings to see that there were multiple coup attempts in play & not just the cosplay yahoos pooping in pelosi's office? :?

So, you believe that politicians and their minions don't "cook the facts" to their advantage?
How cute. ;)

Wasn't me.

I voted for Jagmeet Singh (NDP) last time around.

"You the ppl" voted him in.
Please don't be so autistically literal.

It’s a bipartisan committee with mostly republican/trump administration interviewees.

Facts, not partisan fables created by democrats.

"Bipartisan committee". :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Sure.

Made of Trump-hating Democrats...
And Trump-hating Republicans.

Yes, I saw some of it and listened to my right-wing biased sources.
I am simply using my own skunk life wisdom here, after considering the facts I have come across.

Keep in mind, I dislike the orange narcissistic bastard.
Why would I defend him?
I'm not.
I am defending the Truth. 8)

The committee was made up of members of both parties who sought the truth about J6.

No, you're not. As evidenced above, you're parroting some right wing media nonsense about hillary's emails while trying to discount the fact that the orange guy attempted a coup.

At this point, I have to default to:
"Let us agree to disagree."
There is no point in arguing since neither one of us is going to move away from our respective positions.

Peace and mung beans.

Maybe you should watch them and have an informed opinion.

It’s not exactly going to be old news anytime soon. The likelihood that trump and others get indicted for their crimes just increased with the appointment of Jack Smith as special counsel. It’s not a sure thing, but with his appointment and the addition of other high profile lawyers, it sure looks like the DOJ is preparing to hold the orange guy accountable.
