Working single folks generally can't get benefits, and you can only visit the food bank once a month - what else are people supposed to do? Eat Cake?

Some observations:

1) The people in the article do not say what kind of Bachelor's Degrees they have -- HASS or STEM?

2) They also do not say what other factors may be involved.  Are they autistic?  Do they require any "special accommodations"?

3) The service and hospitality industries are notorious for an over-abundance of workers; this drives down their wages.

4) Private individuals selling their blood is illegal, but donations and "compensations" are not.

5) I have one of the rarest blood types.  The Red Cross "compensates" me with stale cookies and watered-down Gatorade for a pint of my blood (about a dollar's worth of goods).  Patients who need blood transfusions usually pay around $500 per unit.  Someone is making one helluva profit, and it is not I.

Make black pudding with it. It's probably more calorie dense. I love a bit of black pudding with a full english.

On a serious note, it doesn't really say enough about their personal circumstances. If someone has a decade old arts degree and works at a bar then yeah, they won't have money but that's their problem.

People overly relying on low quality degrees is all too common these days (which I suspect these people have). For some reason in this modern world a degree ranks above the actual weekly paycheck when deciding class. Situations like this will only get worse the more sh***y degrees are glamorised.
