According to my friends a few weeks ago I was sitting on table by the dance floor. Apparently this blonde girl came up and tried to pull my arm to get me to join her but the thing is I was slumped over and intoxicated so she gave up and left me. Consequently I don’t remember what happened but I am just going by what my mates told me.

Do you think I blew a really good chance?

Maybe for a drunken dance----probably not much after that.

Because she just might sober up.

It has nothing to do with you; it has everything to do with her state of inebriation.

Almost the precise sort of thing happened to me 40 years ago in a bar.

They might be messing with you.

If you tell them your dating woes they might have been tempted to make up the story.
