posting.php?mode=post&f=3 - I wanted to sort of expand on this recent thread of mine. What are your thoughts on appearing on a TV game show? Me, I'd be excited. :)

Does your question posit a hypothetical event, or are you appearing on a TV game show?

:tired: Tired.  Not well. Cannot think clearly.  What was the question again?

Mostly the former.

Ah.  In that case, I would feel excited.  My favorite game show is "Jeopardy!" because the contestants win or lose on their own merit.  Shows like "Family Feud" look like fun, but the whole team could lose due to one stupid member.

Or worse, if I am the only person on the team giving correct answers, it would not be any fun at all.

So it depends on the show and any possible team-mates.

It depends on what type of game show it is. If it was Name That Tune, I would be very excited. I love my music.

Family Feud would be fun, because of all the bawdy humor, especially since Steve Harvey has been host.

I would like to be on The Price is Right.

My anxiety would never allow it.

What game show would you like to go on equestriatola?

I couldn't do it myself, either.
I'd be terrified to interact with people and be on camera.
I can't stand the buzzer noises either.

I still think it would be better than going to Japan, in your case -- if you were ever in a position to choose.

My best game show that I'm good at is $20,000 Pyramid.
I'm not very good at Jeopardy unless they have literature and philosophy questions, which is rare.

* My daughter's friend won Survivor last year (S42)
I've never met her but it was really exciting.
She had to keep it a secret for about a year until it aired.

It would be cool to be on a game show, but I will say no to anyone who would
offer me to appear on a reality TV show. Like many, I see no appeal in them.

About 50 years ago, I was working in a warehouse and one of the people I met was in a game show. It had 3 men and one woman. She asked questions and then picked one of them for a date. He was a nice guy but had one defect. He was blind in one eye. After several rounds of running through preliminary games, he was chosen to be a finalist. HE ACTUALLY WON. He and the girl flew off to Europe and spent a few days living an adventure.

Idk I was watching 'the floor is lava' that looked like fun, but I bet if I got on a team to go I'd be one of the first to fall into the lava. So idk that can be fun to watch but I am sure I'd fail at it.
