What do you wear when you walk through muddy fields?

In the snow, yes.

I have a pair of the classic tall hunter wellies, and their mid heel ankle boots. My favourite pair of wellies were from allsaints. They looked like combat boots.

No reason for me to walk through muddy fields, so I avoid them.

Everywhere I need to go does not involve fields, unless playing football.

I prefer sitting on my duff whilst people worship my bare feet.

I read this thread as "do you like wearing willies"?

In answer to the real thread title: I have a bad experience with wellies. My feet got wet in them once which was a sensory nightmare so no, I don't like wearing wellies.

We just call them rubber boots here in Canada, and I haven't worn them in forever. All I have are a pair of sneakers and a pair of winter boots. Boots are a pain to put on and remove, so I usually only wear them when it's really snowy or wet outside.

Yes, but only when I am mucking out the chicken coop or the goat pen.

I do have a pair of Hunter wellies, the kind with fuzzy liners.
They're pretty comfy.
I wear them when we walk the dogs, or if I'm boating in cold / wet weather.

I miss rain boots. I haven't seen any in stores in quite awhile, but I don't go shopping irl often. The few I've seen for adults were rather dull, while I'd prefer something bright & happy. Also rarely seen shorter ones, just the tall ones (which are over kill for my life). Good childhood memories of happy, stompy, rainy days, tho.

I have pair of insulated winter ones .Then a pair of the tall Hunters in blue for warmer months.I wear them to walk in the wet tall grass, the woods or to cross small creeks.Couldn’t live without them.
