By this I mean; What's your ambition?

Personally, my dream is to move away from my small town and into the city. I want to live either on my own or with roommates. My room would be decorated with purple and blue lights.

I would have an alright job, one where my boss doesn't hate me. Weekends would be free and I could easily support my friend's band performances. I would no longer feel a sense of dread waking up in the morning regarding going to work.

Visits to the beach or to a pine tree forest would be welcomed on days off. No looming dread. Simply the smell of sea air or surrounding pine.

My new job would allow casual / free dress without being restricted to a uniform.

I would have a small but dedicated art room with a desk and a drawing tablet. Perhaps with a couple of fandom posters on the wall.

That sounds pretty neat to me. So, how about you?

Pay off my mortgage so I don't have to worry about the kids when I'm gone.
Morbid but true.
I don't want to saddle them with mortgage bills, or a half-value house.

Get out of my fishbowl Real Housewives neighbourhood.
Have a small cottage in the Cotswolds, with leaded windows and a library with rolling ladders.

For my kids to be happy with their partners and their jobs.
To have a grandchild or two.

To be scattered on the moors when it's all said and done.

Have my own place and live alone.

To go through life without being a burden on anyone

To master reading the cards

To be free. To be the one who actually controls one's destiny. And be super independent.

But that would mean the near impossible as a human being.
So I'd either commit a very disciplined way of transcending my own humanity -- which I couldn't do so yet as long as I'm this irrational person, or let it all go and be this... "Child" who won't have all the responsibilities merely by refusing to participate in whatever illusion this is, and trust the world to take care of me in any way or form.


But in a very realistic sense, I just want to have my own place and just be able to get my sh*t together.

I have no future plans or vision.
Only that I desire to be "free".

I don't really have ambition. I would really like for my girlfriend to have better health & feel better & happier with life.

To find work in journalism, have my apartment (without my mom making me feel bad about it),
and not much else as of now.

A summer of canoeing in remote wilderness.

Save enough money to visit a maternal aunt & uncle who live in Tennessee who I have been
wanting to meet in-person for the past few years.
