Yes it's like I said, while many may not necessarily identify as "Republican", they certainly aren't liberal either.

I believe it will be a close race----but I do believe Warnock will prevail. He prevailed in the original election, too.

I imagine he's nowhere as terrible as Walker, so I hope Walker doesn't win...

Welp my cards were wrong. Warnock won the election. :)

Not that the cynic in me thinks it'll make any real difference with how bad things are getting here in the US.

less than 4000 votes separated them, worrisome.

Remember this IS Georgia we're talking about. It's a pretty backwards red state that still worships Trump and The Confederacy in most places.

Frankly I'm surprised somebody like Warnock won at all in this state, let alone twice.

Warnock will win by more than 4,000 votes. He’ll certainly win by more than 1 percentage point, at least 40,000 votes. He’s winning by over 50,000 votes with Atlanta area votes still being counted.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the margin is 70,000.

Nah….what’s the use? :)

Those tarot cards are a big part of your life.

The Atlanta area is about as diverse as the NYC suburbs….maybe more so. There’s really no “South” in Atlanta any longer.

Now, the margin is almost 100,000 votes.

very interesting phenomenon there, the majority of the votes were early voters, and the late voters seem to have tipped the balance towards Warnock. at 6PM PST the network news said that only 4000 votes separated them with 91% of precincts reporting. something drastic happened at the last minute, it seems.

That's very true and I've been to Atlanta a few times. It definetly doesnt feel like sonething out of Gone With the Wind.

But it's also an island of blue surrounded by a sea of red. The small towns like the one where I grew up in are still very conservative.
