My brain goes so fast I have those types of thoughts in the blink of an eye whether I'm in the shower or not.

In the shower I'm usually thinking I don't want to get out because my skin will hurt so much.

Current thoughts:

The Flintstone characters all have different eyes.

Fred has big oval eyes with white parts and black pupils.
Wilma has small black dots but no white part.
Barney has hollow circles with skin colour inside.
I guess Betty's are kind of like Fred's, but they're round.

Betty was way hotter than Wilma, but I bet Wilma had a better sex life.

Shopping malls are in trouble in the US. So I am not sure about that thought.

They are here too, but what I was saying is that people have a stove at home but still go out to restaurants; people have a TV at home but still go to the movies; so wouldn't the same be with shopping?

Mine does.
A jell/cream anesthetic.
I think you need to change dentists.

8O

Never noticed that before. Each set of eyes is the product of a whole different drawing technique.

^ I saw a YouTube video that had the early original animation for The Flintstones, but it was called The Flagstones. And in it Betty had just dots for eyes and wore her hair in a bun. Betty looked more like a generic female background character and it was strange.

The voices were different, and the characters were a lot more scruffy looking, too. They looked more "primitive" than they did later, even though they're cave people. Of course, they could have been drawn more neatly because TV animation cut a lot of corners in that era.

Shower Thoughts

I have literal shower thoughts. I actually come up with great ideas in the shower. As showering is a very positive activity thoughts also tend to stay positive.

Yeah, this.

I thought this thread was going to be about clear, focused, positive thoughts and revelations people have while literally taking a nice hot shower. That's what I'd call "shower thoughts." Otherwise they're just thoughts w/o the shower element, like beers anywhere but the shower are just beers, and in the shower become a shower beer.

/kitchen thoughts.

Why does Christmas eve feel like the most Christmassy day of the whole year, even more so than Christmas day?

Well they can be shower thoughts if you like, whatever you interpret them as they'll always be called shower thoughts. I love them and can't get enough of them. There was a Facebook page where several new shower thoughts got posted every day but all of a sudden they abruptly stopped about 3 years ago. Literally abruptly. I do miss reading those.

not saying any of these are original thoughts, but...

*if only all transactions would be taxed at a 1% rate, there'd be so much money available for everything that nobody would have to be poor/homeless anymore. there'd be so much money available for education and research that not only would there likely have been a cure for AIDS and cancer by now, but it is much more likely that we'd have progressed to being a level 1 [Kardashev civilizational technological development] scale world by now. the only reason this is not done is because almost nobody but the poor gives a damn about the poor, almost nobody but cancer patients and AIDS patients gives a damn about those groups, merely "good enough" [status quo] is good enough for the majority of mediocre minds that are the ones that count in our corrupt suffering world.

Is “shower thoughts,” a British term? :?

It isn’t a thing here in the new world, especially not how you describe. Which is why I’d think of it meaning literally thoughts that come to you while having a relaxing shower.

Well the term "shower thoughts" must have originated from someone thinking elite thoughts in the shower but you can think of them anywhere, I don't know.

Everywhere I've read shower thoughts on the internet seem to be written in American-English so I thought it was invented by Americans. It's certainly not a British thing originally.

At the moment if I had a shower it would be 'where's my bloody shower curtain gone'?

(It's being used as a window covering in my front room..)

my shower thoughts usually relate to being in a hurry to get out the door for some urgent appointment that i'm showering for in the first place. sometimes if i am at more leisure i brainstorm on problems.
