Why would a girl briefly be romantically interested in a guy then become disinterested?

As she discovers there is something that doesn't fit right with her in the person she was previously drawn too. Looks or interests tend to draw someone in, but once you get to know someone you might not like parts of them.

I mean I love cute stuff, some guys don't like it when I act overally cute and childish, some do. It just depends on the person.

Lots of reasons. Depends entirely on the people involved.

It could be anything. Don't take it to heart.

Many reasons.

She might have found someone else who she likes more, you might have done something they didn't like or found out something about you.

Hundreds of possible reasons. It's best not to overthink it. Plenty more out there so don't worry.

Could it be that she reads your posts on WP about being intoxicated and exposing yourself to young men?

Probably the same number of reasons why a man could briefly be romantically interested in a woman / man, and then become disinterested.

Romantic attraction is so hard to explain. I've tactfully dumped guys in the past because I just didn't feel aroused or relaxed when being intimate with them, but it wasn't them doing anything wrong exactly, it was just that I didn't fancy them.

I always know if I really fancy a man after the first kiss. If we kiss for the first time and I feel a weird depression feeling it means I don't fancy him (even if I thought I did) and can't imagine myself falling in love with him. If I feel excited like I really enjoyed the kiss (like I did when I first kissed my partner) then it means I definitely fancy him and want more kisses. I've been with my partner for 8 years and been living with him for 5 years now and we kiss every day, at least like 20 times. And every day is not just a guess, it's literally every day. It's just automatic. I don't feel any remorse. He's older and balding with a beer belly but to me he's wonderful and handsome. Even when I'm mad at him for drinking too much or something, he's just too cute to stay mad at.

Sorry for going off on a tangent there but the OP seems quite obsessed with relationships and that so he might be interested in what I have to say.

There was a girl who liked me 4 years ago. Not now though.

She’s roughly 4 years younger than me but I don’t think the age difference really matters.

Age doesn’t matter if both of you are in your 20s-30s.

Maybe her seeing me drunk before made the woman disinterested in me.

Also sometimes when we are young having a crush on someone is very short lived

Many reasons.  Here are just a few:

• She finds out that he already has at least one boyfriend or girlfriend.
• She finds out that he has a bad reputation with women.
• She finds out that he has a developmental, emotional, intellectual, and/or perceptive disorder.
• She finds out that he has anger management issues.
• She finds out that he has fathered at least one child by another woman.
• She finds out that he has no job.
• She finds out that he has only a primary education.
• She finds out that he is already married.
• She finds out that he is boring.
• She finds out that he is gay.
• She finds out that he is on the dole.
• She finds out that he is recently divorced.
• She finds out that he is recently paroled.
• She finds out that he is wanted by law-enforcement.
• She finds out that he lives in council housing or "The Projects".
• She finds out that he still lives with his parents.
• She was not really interested in the first place.
• She witnesses him being bullied.
• She witnesses him being drunk.
• She witnesses him bullying someone else.
• She witnesses him flirting with other women.

Just my opinion: The ones I crossed out mean it's not a problem for me.
The ones left intact might matter depending on the circumstance.

The question was whether she would stop being romantically interested.
It's easy to be "romantically interested" in people who are gay, or married, etc.
It doesn't mean I would pursue it, but we can't always control our interest.

I'd add:

You get to know him and he's not what you thought he was.
Lack of chemistry when you touch.
He's disrespectful to you.
He lovebombs you, or he's narcissistic.
He has addictions (gambling in particular).
He has a history of falling in love with multiple people.
He can't explain why he likes you.
He knows very little about you.
He talks too much (or too little).
He takes more than he gives (emotionally).
He wants you to be a free therapist.
He talks down to you.
He doesn't like animals.
He needs constant praise and validation.
He reads your emails or looks at your phone.
He accuses you of things you haven't done.
He steals from you or your kids.
He's rude to your kids.
He gaslights (anyone, ever.)
He doesn't respect boundaries.
He smells bad.

Notice none of these are about looks or wealth.
