Looking good in the polls for Labour. Kier seems fairly centerist unlike Corbyn who was imo a left wing nut job.

What do you think was nutty about Corbyn?

I hope so! I'm a huge labour supporter. Save the NHS!

Never seen a Party so far ahead in the polls as Labour are right now

It'll certainly tighten nearer election time as the media all pile in behind the Tories and disgraceful stories start being run.

Interesting that so many businesses are now starting to donate to Labour. That's a very good sign for them

Free broadband for all. Unilateral nuclear disarmament to name but two. If he's stayed on Labour would have been wiped out at the next election imo.

It’s not practical to “unilaterally disarm” your nuclear arsenal.

I don’t see the problem with free broadband, though.

There's nothing nutty about free broadband for all.

Corbyn was the only good thing about Labour in decades.

Kier Starmer is a dickhead. I'd still vote Labour, as I'd rather have Tory lite over Tory.

Free broadband would be great but it's not free is it.. It's paid for by higher taxes. Nuclear disarmament would be great if everyone in the world including Putin and that idiot in North Korea agreed to it.

Corbyn's policies could never have won an election imo. Look at what happened last time: 80 seat Tory majority. As you say, a centerist party led by Starmer is better than the right wing Tories.

Yep, agree with you. I voted Tory for the first time ever last election just to try to keep Corbyn out, as did many other voters. Starmer isn't so radical, so I will probably vote Labour next election. I used to regularly vote Lib Dems, until they lost the plot.

Can't believe Liz Truss used to be a Lib Dem. She was as nuts as Corbyn in my opinion but from the right wing of politics.

She was an utter disaster. Too self opinionated and averse to listening to advice from others. Was it around £30 billion she wiped off the value of our economy during her brief disastrous tenure? Total and utter waste. Could have funded the nurses pay rise for far less. To be honest, I have little confidence in any political party. You've only got to watch prime ministers question time. It's worse than a school playground; just name calling and willy waving on all sides.

An intellectually and morally bankrupt, self serving, odious and incompetent Tory party needs to be out of power for at least a decade.

Of course!

Should have used the precise term for it.

Precisely: Is it a "bugbear," or a "bugaboo"? :P
