My sped teacher somewhat suspects possible ADHD in my case, specifically impulsivity...

... I don't like it.
My upbringing and this culture I grew up in does not help.

And I don't think it's really ADHD in my case, but more like emotional dysregulation specifically -- because, I can pause and try to think -- yet thinking comes up with nothing because of overwhelm, which I've been fighting since childhood.

And I'm still fighting it now. It's this spoiled brat of an angry little gir in my head.

I believe your issue can be dealt with by throwing the right molecules in the recommended dosage at your brain. E.g. a nootropic/antidepressant like Tianeptine, which increases drive/motivation and focus/concentration, while at the same time reducing stress. Then you're more likely to make your place less messy. Though while the effects start immediately, it will take a while until your brain adapts to the new conditions.
