What Auntblabby wrote was squarely in the Thomas Wyatt couplet tradition.

I see things that way, too.

But then…..there is the difference between throwing paint on a canvas and being a craftsperson/painter like Rembrandt.

When I was a teen and a young adult I organized my interest collections to a fault. For example I had a collection of troll dolls and I'd put certain ones in certain parts of my room, like one part would have baby trolls, another would have trolls with different "jobs", like a doctor, a police officer, a firefighter. and a mother troll with a baby because I believed at the time that being a mother was the most important job of all. But I could never stop reorganizing everything. I was never satisfied and anxious and sometimes couldn't leave my room until I organized everything the way I wanted. It was like OCD or something and it wasn't until shortly before I was diagnosed with Asperger's that it began to wane along with almost everything I enjoyed. I'm glad I don't obsess with organizing like anymore but I also feel like a total slob.
