Hello all! I haven't been on a forum for years, but happy to be here.

I'm fairly new to the world of neurodiverse-ness, having only figured out the weirdness of my life a few short years ago. My interests revolve around videogames, twisty puzzles (ie: Rubik's cubes), card/board games, and zine making/collecting.

Not entirely sure what to expect from joining, but guess I hope to meet some friendly folks I can actually relate to for once and maybe play some games together online.

Welcome to WP! I hope you like it here.

I'd suggest just wandering around the planet to see if you can find some forums that interest you.

I'd also suggest that if you find a thread unpleasant you don't have to leave WP! Just wander over to another thread.

Welcome!

Welcome to Wrong Planet! :jester:

And yes, I remember zines from back in the day in the early 1990s.

I suppose, with maybe three regular writers or artists, the current version would be online. On an interesting topic, either once a week or once a month, plus assorted other contributors. And please count me as one of the potential contributors [depending on topic of course]. :D

Done! Thanks for the suggestion.

There are definitely some folks who make online zines, but I still rely on paper! Even travel to local zinefests around my area when the COVID restrictions aren't wild anymore. Mostly make them with typewriters, sharpies, pens/pencils, and occasionally augment them with the iPad.

Funny! That's really some good luck. I decided to pick up learning the algorithms for the Friedrich Method (CFOP) after I saw that the world record holder was just under half my age. Figured if a 16yr old could do it in 3 seconds, I could at least learn to solve it in 3 minutes. So far my best time is 22s but I'm out of practice so it probably takes closer to 40-45s these days.

I think a combo of printing and handwritten has a lot of potential. :nemo:

Hello and nice to meet you! I'm a latecomer to the ASD confirmation too...and 10 years later I think I'm still discovering aspects of the weirdness in me. :D
