I didn’t say any of that.

She’s not homeless and she had an address.

You have a broken rib, Isabella?

Also I’ve said many times that I don’t think the hospital did anything wrong, even though it’s a sad and unfortunate outcome.

If she gave any sort of address, she would be sent a bill. At least $150.

The doctors and staff usually are pretty kind to people. Though you have some who are not so nice. I would say they are more sensitive to people than they were back in the 80s. It was MUCH more grim in emergency rooms then.

Not fully broken but yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s chipped or fractured. I’ve done it before and it feels exactly the same. I’m turning purple and swollen. Last time they just gave me an X-ray and morphine but couldn’t do anything else, so that’s all I’m doing now. I’m not gonna deal with a hospital or driving. It took about a month to heal last time. It’s just frustrating I’m such a stupid klutz.

It’s true they can’t do anything about a broken rib. Most of the time, it’s not serious. A major nuisance, though.

I had one once. Went to the emergency room. Stayed in triage awhile. Gave me a prescription for Tylenol 3, and sent me on my way.

If it’s a complete fracture, and the bone is sticking through, I would get to the ER, pronto.

I can’t believe they gave you morphine.

My other one was closer to my lungs. I remember they said there was a concern it could cause a clot. That was a few weeks before my stroke so I always wonder if it was related but who knows. This one is my lowest rib so likely not a concern in that way.

I can’t take T3 because I’m allergic to codeine. Morphine is a bit of overkill and it’ll keep me awake all night, but it’s what they gave me last time so I’ll just use it again.

Note to others: Don’t fall head first into your recycle bin.

I hope you feel better soon.

It gets better as the day rolls.

Don’t do hard work for a few weeks.

Thanks. I’m trying to figure out how to lie down because I sleep on my belly and can’t sleep sitting up. I can’t bend or twist or go in my side, so it’s gonna be a very long night. Plus morphine keeps me high as a kite and wide awake stoned but I can’t move enough to do anything and all my devices are broken except my phone.

Fun and games. I’m spinning some Cream music now to go with the vibe.

Night all.

Sorry about that.

I have been given morphine twice. Once when a feeding tube was being replaced and could not get it in and they had to force it in. The other time was after my tongue replacement operation when they had to take the clips that were holding my "flap" to the original tongue.

I never have taken Tylenol 3, and I never heard of it until just now.

:?

Odd.

I've taken one T3 pill once. I was prescribed it sometime for something - can't remember what for - but I didn't Need it so took only one and then nothing.

It's Tylenol with Codeine, an opiate - I guess sort of the entry level opiate pain killer much milder than morphine.

I gave the excess to my BIL when his prescription ran out and his knees were hurting, so he popped 'em a few years back.

Isabella.

I wish you could lie on your back, remove all thoughts. Just think about falling asleep.

Good news!
The missing woman has been found by her family - she was riding the trains.
(Still in the same clothes and a lot thinner - they took her back to hospital for a check-up.)
