I would if I have the time.
I like the warm sensations through my head.

But in practical terms, it's not necessary.
My hair is thin enough that it dries itself within an hour and half when left alone in a cold and humid day.

^Yes, it is a nice feeling when someone else blows dry my hair. I don't do it myself, mainly because my blow dryer broke about 20 years ago and I was too cheap to replace it 8O And I quit going to the salon due to expense. I cut my own hair now as well. The only thing I do to it is heat treat it with a large curling iron because my hair looks like Ms. Frizzle in its natural state :afro:

i take it from these results that most folks don't shower up just before they leave the house, and/or their hair stays naturally clean enough where they can just go out in public even if they showered yesterday.

Very insightful  I was raised taking my baths at night so my hair dries while in a bon bon on the top of my head. I only wash it twice a week. I must admit it needs some tender-loving care in the form of moisturizing; it is not that shiny right now and has some brittle pieces, but I just don't know how or what to do with it to be honest.

I have extremely fine hair. It was referred to as doll hair by specialists, they said they've never seen anything like it before.

Due to that it takes a lot of work to clean and dry, so if I don't dry it with a brush and blow dryer manually it takes many hours of work with an electric rotating brush or the blow dryer alone. Strong blow dryers are also heavy unfortunately.

In the summer it kills me, it's so fluffy it generates heat like crazy. But due to being fine hair it also oils up fast. Fine hair tends to be more numerous and with every follicle there is a sebaceous gland which overwhelms the poor thin follicle. Fine hair also gets washed inside out unlike the other types, water and products get inside the follicle. Due to the color and fineness mom always thought my hair isn't shiny. Then again her iq is of a fish and I haven't met anyone like her.

my hair is both sparse and thin which makes it tough to keep corralled together as well as to keep it clean longer than a few hours. it covers my pate but you definitely can see through it to my scalp. despite that, because of my abundant skin oils it takes forever to air dry.

Very rarely. It makes my scalp hurt for a day or two because I have sensitive skin.

Happens to me too also because it gets too dry.

I haven't blow-dried it in forever. I don't see what the point is since it will just dry naturally after I remove excess water with a towel and I'm not going out anywhere.

I found out it helps with combating yeast formation or dandruff due to the humidity on the scalp staying long.

Then again rough surfactants and soaps can cause dandruff due to their roughness.

No, blow dryers are way too loud and hot and sensory-unfriendly. I have always let my hair dry naturally and it totally works for me. Besides, who has time to blow-dry??

Even if I could handle the sound I wouldn’t use them.My hair is fine and dry so I would get split ends.My hair never gets oily.

you are very fortunate to have no oil, that means your cholesterol levels are very low.

It was very high till I went mostly vegan. My skin is also dry and I use lotion daily in winter or my elbows crack. The humidity in the summer doesn't dry it out.
